We are a diverse team of social workers and social service workers. Our common goal is to pull together with people with mental illness. We are here for our clients and for you too. We are mental illness guides for anyone who needs help. So do not hesitate to contact any of our services that might be useful to you.

SOCIAL COUNSELLING

Social counselling is the provision of necessary information on the possibilities of solving an unfavourable social situation or on ways of preventing it. Mental illness can cause a number of difficulties in different life situations.

SHELTERED HOUSING

We help people with serious mental illnesses such as psychosis or affective disorders who are currently undergoing outpatient psychiatric treatment to acquire the skills needed to live independently so that they can lead a normal and, above all, happy life.

Social rehabilitation

The mission of the social rehabilitation service is to help develop and strengthen the skills and abilities of people with experience of serious mental illness. The aim is to support the resolution of their adverse social situation so that they can live an independent and satisfying life.

We are a team of professionals providing outreach and outpatient services to people with lived experience of mental illness.

We provide services with respect for our clients, striving to support their confidence and skills needed to improve their quality of life. We carefully plan the scope and form of service with each client, taking into account their wishes, needs and situation. Our services are free of charge.

Who we help

  • People over the age of 16 with experience of serious mental illness.
  • People who are in an adverse social situation that can be addressed through the service offer.
  • People living in the capital city for a long time.

How we help

Through training in a variety of practical skills, support and education we will teach you to cope with the demands of everyday life.

We will lead you to maximum independence and help you live a happy life.

We will help you in the following areas

  • Promoting independence in health, self-care
  • Supporting independence in living, housekeeping and keeping the home tidy and clean
  • finding suitable employment
  • managing your finances
  • spending your free time according to your own wishes and interests
  • establishing, maintaining and developing relationships with people close to them and with the wider community
  • support in dealing with the authorities, doctors, help in asserting rights and interests
  • arranging other professional services
  • support in training for public transport journeys in the territory of the capital city of Prague
