In everyday life we encounter challenging situations and periods of increased stress. It is therefore important to have enough internal resources to cope with them. For people being treated for psychotic illness, stressful situations can also lead to a return of symptoms. This reappearance of symptoms is called a relapse and can lead to difficulties in normal daily functioning or hospitalization.
In the therapeutic program of BREEZE, we want to support your resilience and offer some techniques to manage stress.
THE BRIZA GROUP
Can you recognise emotions in yourself and other people?
Then in February we open CASTAN (SOCIAL COGNITION AND INTERACTION TRAINING).
The program is primarily for clients who have experience with psychotic illness. If space is available, we also offer the program to clients with other mental illnesses.
The goal of the program is to learn to recognize emotions in oneself and in other people and to be able to relate them to social situations. Another goal is to help develop critical thinking skills. The final phase of the programme is aimed at applying the skills acquired to the clients' real life in order to improve their interactions with other people.
