The group meets regularly with a relatively stable group of participants, which helps to create a safe environment, build trust and facilitate deeper therapeutic work. The sessions take the form of group work, although the artistic activities themselves are based on the individual needs and current issues of each client.
Art therapy offers a sensitive way to better understand one’s own emotions and inner experiences, to support their regulation and to seek new ways of coping with challenging life situations. The sessions may also include sharing and reflecting on emerging themes together.
Our facility has long specialised in the care of patients with psychotic disorders and clients with addictions to alcohol, medication or pathological gambling and betting. This expansion of our services responds to the growing need for accessible specialist care in the areas of anxiety, depression and stress-related disorders.
