Active autumn in Ondřejov: will you join us?

16. 6. 2025

The summer is just beginning, but the Centre for Complex Treatment of Psychosis of the Ondřejov Day Psychotherapy Sanatorium is already planning several interesting therapeutic programmes and groups in the autumn (not only) at the request of patients...

We are opening JASAN for students. The program is for patients (16-40 years old) with mental illness who are studying or are planning to study in the near future. In the program, they will learn how to learn and manage their studies better.

Another programme called NUT aims to learn in a playful way how to work effectively with one's own thoughts and beliefs, recognise depressive and other thinking patterns, understand emotions in oneself and other people, and use critical thinking.

Other popular programmes such as GINKGO - a programme to boost motivation and better thinking and BUK - a programme for good health will be among the autumn activities.

For the family members and loved ones of patients with mental illness, our sanatorium LÍSKU will open after the summer holidays. The latter is aimed at support, a space for sharing and mediation of information. And like other programs, it is covered by health insurance.

Patients can also sign up for these groups in the fall:

VERBENA is for clients coping with a first or recurrent psychotic episode due to long-term stress, such as during studies, work, the impact of complicated relationships or burnout. Over a period of 6 months, clients integrate the distress associated with the development of a psychotic attack, build insight into possible triggers of the illness, expand their own coping resources, and learn to better understand their experiences and functioning in different areas of life (e.g. relationships, work, study).

The open group for adolescents and young adults (16-24 years old) ROZMARÝN is then suitable for patients who have just been discharged from hospital. The aim is support in coping with mental illness, understanding symptoms and relapse prevention.
