A YEAR FULL OF SUPPORT AND NEW POSSIBILITIES: SUMMER WITH THYME, AUTUMN WITH SAKURA

6. 5. 2026

In the Ondřejov Day Psychotherapeutic Sanatorium we are opening several programs in 2026 that support psychological stability, personal growth and creativity. Summer will bring the traditional TYMIÁN group, autumn will bring the new bibliotherapy group SAKURA and also the popular BŘÍZA programme aimed at strengthening psychological resilience. The offer is complemented by a new year-round project: the art programme NAKRESLENO.

TYMIÁN - summer support group (July and August 2026)

TYMIÁN is an open space for everyone who wants to meet and stay in touch with the psychological support of DPS Ondřejov even during the holidays. The group is intended for people who have had a psychotic illness and are now in a relatively stable state. Summer meetings offer a safe environment for personal topics, mutuality and continuity of care during the period when regular programs are not running. Thyme runs only in July and August.

SAKURA - a new bibliotherapy group (from September 2026)

SAKURA is a new therapeutic group that combines the reading of literary texts with the discovery of one's own experience. The text becomes a mediator through which one can view one's own experience from a distance, giving it a new context and gradually integrating it into a personal story. Each session has a clear structure, from the initial calming down, through the introduction of the topic and the reading, to the collaborative work with the text and the final reflection. The group is for people with psychotic experiences who want to explore their own experience and seek their own understanding of it.

BREEZE - a popular programme to support psychological resilience (from September 2026)

THE BRIZA is one of our most popular programmes in the long term. It is designed for people with
from the psychotic circuit who want to strengthen their ability to manage stress and prevent relapse. The program focuses on recognizing stressful situations, strengthening internal resources and practicing techniques to help manage stress in everyday life. It also includes relaxation methods such as autogenic training or mindfulness, and education aimed at better understanding the early signs of the disease. The sessions have two parts - a space for sharing and then working with specific techniques. The aim is to promote stability, confidence and daily functioning.

NAKRESLEN - a new year-round art program

NAKRESLENO is a new program for those seeking a space for focused work and systematic guidance in drawing and painting. The program is especially for people with experience of psychosis who want to create for the long term, develop their skills and strengthen their ability to focus. Creation takes place in a safe and professional environment.

Each programme offers a different way to stop, grow, share or create. Together, we open a year full of support and new possibilities.
