VERBENA: Support in coping with a psychotic attack

14. 6. 2026

Verbena is the name of a psychotherapy group for people who are experiencing a first or recurrent psychotic attack associated with long-term stress

Difficulties often arise during challenging life situations, for example during studies or work, due to complicated relationships or burnout.

Over the course of the six-month program, participants gradually integrate the distressing conditions associated with the development of a psychotic attack, learn to recognize possible triggers for illness, and build their own coping resources.

"The work also includes a deeper understanding of one's own experience and functioning in different areas of life - in relationships, work or study," says head of the programme Mgr. Bernadeta Pribulová.

The group offers a safe space, professional guidance and support for people going through a similar experience. The next run of the group opens in October.
