LIPA - Safe space for parents with schizophrenia or experience of psychosis

9. 9. 2025

Raising a child is one of life's most challenging roles. And when the experience of psychosis or schizophrenia is added to the equation, parenting can be even more difficult. That's why the LIPA program was created, a group psychotherapy program designed for parents (and parents-to-be) who are struggling with mental illness and are looking for support, understanding and sharing.

Who is the programme for?

The Lípa programme is open to all parents with personal experience of psychosis or schizophrenia who wish to:

Share their joys and concerns about raising their children,
get support from people with similar life experiences,
strengthen their parenting skills in a safe and respectful environment.

When do the meetings take place?

The group meets once a month on a Friday, according to a pre-arranged date.
Upcoming meetings:

19. 9. 2025
31. 10. 2025
21. 11. 2025
19. 12. 2025

Why LIPA?

The linden tree is a symbol of peace. Just as its spreading branches provide sanctuary, this program offers a space where parents can breathe and be heard.
