Motivational Modřín - group for clients with dual diagnosis

The motivational group is designed for clients with schizophrenia-spectrum disorders who also have problems with substance misuse (alcohol, medication, illicit drugs, etc.) or gambling.

The aim of the ‘Motivační Modřín’ group is to provide a safe space for sharing and support in finding the motivation to achieve or maintain abstinence, or in reducing the risks associated with substance use. The group works on topics such as managing cravings and risky situations, as well as options for follow-up treatment. The standard duration of the programme is one year. Full abstinence is not required to attend the group, but participants must be sober during group sessions. Alcohol tests are therefore carried out before the sessions begin.
