Sakura - bibliotherapy

The bibliotherapy group combines the reading of literary texts with the discovery of one's own experience.

We will work with short excerpts (stories, poems, fragments), looking for their meanings and paying attention to the images and symbols that arise in the texts and in ourselves. The text becomes a mediator - it allows us to look at our own experience from a distance, to give it new contexts and gradually integrate it into a personal story. At the same time, working together opens up different possible meanings and supports the search for one's own understanding.

The meetings are thematic (e.g. identity, relationships, acceptance, change) and have a clear structure: an initial calming down, introduction of the topic, reading, working together with the text and a final reflection.

The group is designed for people with psychotic experiences who want to explore their experience and seek their own understanding of it.
